이 연구는 태권도 시범 수행에 영향을 미치는 심리요인을 탐색하고, 심층면담을 통해 시범단원들이 시범 수행 시 경험하는 심리요인을 구체화 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 이 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 우리나라 태권도 관련 3개 대표기관인 대한태권도협회, 국기원, 세계태권도연맹 등에 소속된 태권도 시범단에 선발되어 현재 활동 중인 시범단원 총 90명을 대상으로 개방형 설문과 심층면담을 실시하였다. 시범단원 80명을 대상으로 개방형 설문을 실시한 결과 407사례의 원 자료를 수집하였고, 수집한 자료는 의미의 유사성 여부에 따라 범주화하는 귀납적 내용분석을 실시하였다. 내용분석 결과 태권도 시범에 영향을 미치는 심리요인은 심리요인(자신감, 집중력, 열정, 의지), 중재전략(자기관리, 긍정적 사고, 심리기술), 시범지능(시범경험, 시범기술훈련, 시범응집력), 시범환경(시범환경은 시범장소, 관중, 날씨, 시간) 4개의 구인으로 구조화되었다. 개방형 설문을 통해 추출된 심리요인을 구체화하기 위하여 범주화 내용의 세부영역을 바탕으로 시범의 전문성을 갖추고 있다고 판단되는 시범단원 10명과 심층면담을 실시하였다. 심층면담 결과 태권도 시범 수행에 있어 자신감, 집중력, 열정, 의지, 자기관리, 긍정적 사고, 심리기술, 시범경험, 시범기술훈련, 시범응집력, 시범장소, 관중, 날씨, 시간 등의 14개 심리요인들은 각각 하나의 요인이 독립적으로 작용하지 않고, 두 개 이상의 심리요인들이 서로 상호보완적으로 작용하여 시범에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다.

This study is to find out psychology factor that would influence on Taekwondo demonstration player. The researcher proceeded investigation using open-ended questionnaires and in-depth interviews with 90 Taekwondo demonstration players who affiliated in Kukkiwon, Korea Taekwondo Aassociation and World Taekwondo Federation. 407 cases of data collected through 80 open-ended questionnaires. Within 407 cases, the researchers performed inductive content analysis. As the results, four factors were categorized; fundamentals, Intervention strategy, demonstration intelligence, and the demonstration atmosphere. Based on these four factors, the researchers also had in-depth interviews with 10 participant then found out 14 psychological factors affects on Taekwondo demonstration player. These are confidence, concentration, passion, will, self management, positive thinking, psychological skills, demonstration experience, demonstration skill training, demonstration teamwork, demonstration place, spectators, weather, and time. These factors were only able to influence by complementarily cooperate with each other.
