(6권 2호) 태권도의 성찰과 희망_이학준

이 연구의 목적은 태권도의 지속적 성장을 위한 자기성찰과 희망을 찾아보는데 있다. 연구방법은 태권도에 대한 성찰적 비판을 통하여 태권도장 경영, 태권도교육, 태권도연구 등으로 구분하여 성찰과 희망을 찾아보았다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 태권도장 경영의 성찰과 희망이다. 태권도장 경영의 위기는 수련인구 대부분이 초등학생이라는 점이다. 어떻게 하면 초등학생들이 중단 없이 평생수련을 할 수 있게 할 것인가가 최대의 과제이다. 그 해답은 태권도의 사회적 위상을 끌어올리는데 있다. 태권도는 초등학생만 한다는 사회적 인식에서 벗어나서 고급 수련문화라는 인식의 확산과 평생을 해야 한다는 생각을 갖게 해야 한다. 둘째, 대학의 태권도학과에서 태권도교육의 성찰과 희망이다. 현 대학에서 태권도교육은 기능과 이론의 부조화와 철학이 부재한 교육에서 찾을 수 있다. 희망을 태권도 기능과 이론의 조화와 철학이 있는 태권도교육에서 찾아보았다. 셋째, 태권도연구의 성찰과 희망이다. 태권도연구가 연구를 위한 연구와 인용,논쟁, 비판, 인정이 사라져가고 연구자를 위한 연구만을 하고 있다는 성찰이 가능하다. 이를 극복하기 위하여 태권도연구가 연구진실성과 연구윤리, 진정성과 절실함을 갖춘 태권도를 위한 연구가 되어야 한다. 현장의 목소리를 귀담아 듣고 연구에 반영하여 현장에서 절실하게 필요한 연구가 진행되어야 한다. 그래서 연구결과가 태권도 현장을 변화시키고 태권도인들 간의 소통을 돕는 역할을 해야할 것이다.

The purpose of this study was inquiry to reflect and hope for Taekwondo growth without stopping. The method of this study is meta analysis on Taekwondo. The results were as follows. Firth, we need to reflection and hope of Taekwondo center management. The crisis of Taekwondo center management is that most of the elementary student were stopping in junior high school. We must have thought that Taekwondo need to spread the awareness of advanced training and continuing beyond culture in the social recognition. Second, we have reflection and hope of Taekwondo education in university. Taekwondo education can be found in the philosophy of education and the incongruity of theory and practice. Hope can be found in philosophy and Taekwondo education in harmony with theory and practice. Third, we have reflection and hope of taekwondo research. We need to study for the Taekwondo research with authenticity. So, the results of this study will contribute to communicate between the Taekwondo coaches and researchers.
