(10권1호) 청각장애인 국가대표 태권도 선수의 신체 구성과 체력평가비교

본 연구는 청각장애인 국가대표 선수와 상비군 선수의 신체구성과 체력 수준을 비교하여, 청각장애인 국가대표 태권도 선수들의 경기력 향상을 위한 교육에 기초적 자료를 제공하는데 목적이 있다. 국가대표 선수 7명과 상비군 선수 9명으로 총 16명을 대상으로 체중, 체지방, 제지방 등 신체 구성 및 심폐지구력, 근지구력, 순발력, 등속성 근력, 균형 능력 등 체력 측정을 완료하였다. 두 그룹 간 차이를 보기 위해 독립표본 t 검정을 실시하였으며, 운동능력에 미치는 신체 및 체력 요인을 알아보기 위해 Pearson 상관분석을 실시하였다. 모든 통계적 유의수준은 α=.05로 설정하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 청각장애인 국가대표 태권도 선수들은 상비군 선수들에 비해 근지구력(p<.05)이 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났으며, 체지방, 제지방 및 심폐지구력, 등속성 근력, 균형능력에서는 유의한 차이를 보이지 않았다. 본 연구는 청각장애인 국가대표 태권도 선수들의 전수 조사로서 신체구성과 체력을 측정 비교하여 경기력 향상을 위한 기초자료를 제시하는 첫 번째 연구로서 그 의의를 가진다.

The purpose of this study is to compare the body composition and fitness assessment among the Taekwondo national athletes with hearing impairment aiming to provide supporting factors that will be the foundation to the reinforcement of the Taekwondo national athletes performance. For this goal, weight, body fat, lean body mass, cardiorespiratory fitness, muscular endurance, agility, isokinetic muscular strength, and balance ability were measured from the national Taekwondo team with hearing impairment, 7 national athletes in Taekwondo with hearing impairment and 9 backup national athletes in Taekwondo with hearing impairment. The data collected were analyzed with SPSS Windows 21.0 Version, independent sample t-test and correlation analysis were used. The significance level of all statistical data was set at .05. The results are as follows. the statistic showed the national athletes’ muscular endurance(p<.05) level to be significantly higher than the backup national athletes but did not show a significant difference in body fat, lean body mass, cardiorespiratory fitness, agility, isokinetic muscular strength, and balance ability. Second, muscular endurance was found to be the factor that influenced the performance in Taekwondo national athlete with hearing impairment. This study attained the objective of performing the first study on the composition and fitness assessment among all of the members in the national Taekwondo team with hearing impairment.
