(9권 1호) 소셜 빅데이터를 활용한 올림픽 태권도 감성분석_이재문

본 연구는 소셜 빅데이터 분석을 활용하여 역대 올림픽에서의 태권도에 대한 국민들의 긍정 및 부정적 감정을 살펴보고자 한다. 이를 위하여, 네이버(Naver)와 다음(Daum)에서 제공하는 블로그, 카페, 지식인(팁), 뉴스, 웹문서를 분석채널로 선정하였으며, 빅데이터 자료검색을 위한 키워드는 ‘올림픽/태권도’를 주제어로 추출하였다. 자료의 분석 기간은 2004년, 2008년, 2012년, 2016년 올림픽 개막식을 기준으로 두 달 후까지 총 2개월을 연구기간으로 한정하였다. 자료 수집 및 분석은 소셜 매트릭스 프로그램인 텍스톰(textom)을 통해 텍스트마이닝과 감성분석을 실시하였다. 분석 결과 첫째, 2004년 아테네 올림픽/태권도에 대한 긍정적인 감성은 <좋다>, <관심>, <재미있다>, <기대>, <인기> 등의 키워드가 나타났다. 반대로 부정적인 감성은 <퇴출>, <아쉽다>, <재미없다>, <위기>, <좌절> 등의 키워드가 나타났다. 둘째, 2008년 베이징 올림픽/태권도에 대한 긍정적인 감성은 <좋다>, <최고>, <재미있다>, <감동>, <응원> 등의 키워드가 나타났다. 반대로 부정적인 감성은 <폭행>, <퇴출>, <아쉽다>, <위기>, <재미없다> 등의 키워드가 나타났다. 셋째, 2012년 런던 올림픽/태권도에 대한 긍정적인 감성은 <좋다>, <응원>, <기대>, <재미있다>, <최고> 등의 키워드가 나타났다. 반대로 부정적인 감성은 <논란>, <오심>, <조롱>, <퇴출>, <아쉽다> 등의 키워드가 나타났다. 넷째, 2016년 리우 올림픽에서의 태권도에 대한 긍정적인 감성은 <좋다>, <응원>, <재미있다>, <효자종목>, <성공> 등의 키워드가 나타났다. 반대로 부정적인 감성은 <퇴출>, <아쉽다>, <좌절>, <충격>, <재미없다> 등의 키워드가 나타났다. 이처럼 올림픽 태권도 경기에 대한 국민들의 감성을 파악하는 것은 올림픽에서의 영구종목 확립과 태권도에 대한 국민들의 부정적 인식에 대한 문제해결 및 긍정적 인식 방안마련을 위한 기초자료를 제시할 수 있을 것으로 사료된다.

The purpose of this study was to examine the positive and negative feelings of Taekwondo in the past Olympics by using social big data analysis. For this blogs, cafes, intellectuals(tips), news, and web documents provided by Naver and Daum were selected as analysis channels. The main Keywords for searching big data data were ‘Olympic / Taekwondo’. The analysis period of the data was limited to 2 months after for the 2004, 2008, 2012, and 2016 Olympic Games opening month. Data collection and analysis were conducted through text mining and sentiment analysis through the social matrix program textom. First, keywords related to positive emotions for the 2004 Athens <good>, <interest>, <interesting>, <expectation>, <popularity>. On the contrary, keywords related to negative emotions were such as <exit>, <sadness>, <no fun>, <crisis>, <frustration>. Second, keywords related to positive emotions for the 2008 Beijing Olympic/Taekwondo <good>, <best>, <interesting>, <impression>, <support> On the contrary, keywords related to negative emotions were such as <assault>, <exclusion>, <depression>, <crisis>, <not interesting>. Third, keywords related to positive emotions for the 2012 London <good>, <support>, <expectation>, <fun>, <best>. On the contrary, keywords related to negative emotions were such as <controversy>, <nosh>, <ridicule>, <exclusion>, <depression>. Fourth, keywords related to positive emotions for the 2016 Rio Olympic/Taekwondo were <good>, <cheer>, <fun>, <enthusiast item>, <success>. On the contrary, keywords related to negative emotions were such as <exit>, <sadness>, <frustration>, <impact>, <no fun>.
