(9권 1호) 케어링 및 동기 분위기는 태권도 선수들의 도덕행동을 예측하는가?_강명구·임태희·장창용

본 연구의 목적은 태권도 선수들이 지각하는 케어링 분위기와 동기 분위기가 그들의 도덕행동에 미치는 영향을 규명하는 데 있다. 연구 참여자는 고등학교 및 대학교 태권도 선수 420명(고등학생: 184, 대학생: 236)이었다. 측정도구로는 케어링 분위기, 동기 분위기, 스포츠 도덕행동 설문지가 사용되었다. 자료 분석을 위해 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 신뢰도, 기술통계 및 상관분석을 하였고 AMOS 프로그램을 이용하여 회귀 모형을 검증하였다. 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 케어링 분위기는 동료에 대한 친사회적 행동과 동료에 대한 반사회적 행동에 유의한 영향을 주었지만 상대에 대한 친사회적 행동과 상대에 대한 반사회적 행동에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 숙달 분위기는 동료에 대한 친사회적 행동, 동료에 대한 반사회적 행동, 그리고 상대에 대한 반사회적 행동에 유의한 영향을 주었고, 상대에 대한 친사회적 행동에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 셋째, 수행 분위기는 상대에 대한 친사회적 행동과 상대에 대한 반사회적 행동, 그리고 동료에 대한 반사회적 행동에 유의한 영향을 주었지만, 동료에 대한 친사회적 행동에는 유의한 영향을 미치지 않는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 태권도 수련생들을 지도하고 있는 지도자들의 운동 분위기 조성의 중요성을 깨닫게 해주며, 케어링 분위기와 동기 분위기가 스포츠 도덕행동에 유의한 영향을 미친다는 것을 입증하였다. 따라서 지도자들은 선수들을 지지해주고, 수행중심의 분위기 보다 숙달중심의 분위기를 조성하도록 노력해야한다.

The purpose of this study was to identify the influence of the caring and motivational climate on moral behavior in the Taekwondo athletes. Participants were 420 Taekwondo athletes(184 high school and 236 university students). Measures were the caring climate, the motivational climate, and the moral behavior in sport. Data analyses were conducted; reliability, descriptive analysis, correlation analysis, and regression model were assessed by using SPSS and AMOS program. Results are as follows. First, perceived caring climate significantly influenced the prosocial and antisocial behaviors to the teammate, but did not influence the prosocial and antisocial behaviors to the opponent. Second, the climate of mastery similarly affected the prosocial and antisocial behaviors to the teammate and the antisocial behaviors to the opponent, but did not affect the prosocial behaviors to the opponent. Third, the performance climate similarly affected the prosocial and antisocial behaviors to the opponent, and the antisocial behaviors to the teammate, but did not affect the prosocial behavior to the teammate. These results indicated the importance of the climate that the coaches who are leading the Taekwondo trainees form. Also, it proved that the caring climate and the motivational climate similarly influence the moral behavior in sport. In conclusion, this study implies that the coaches should support the athletes, and that they should conduct studies and try hard to form a performance-focused climate rather than a mastery-based climate.
