(4권 2호) 국기원 태권도 교본의 품새선 및 품새 설명 개선방안_이재돈·박정호

국기원 태권도 교본에서는 품새를 행하는 사람을 위하여 품새선의 방향이 되어 있으므로 교본을 보는 입장에서는 아래와 위, 오른쪽과 왼쪽이 서로 바뀌어 표현되었다. 이와 같이 교본의 사진은 지도자가 행하는 것이 아니고 상대자, 즉 수련자(시범자)가 행하는 것을 바라보며 배우기 때문에 방향이 반대로 바뀌게 된다고 하였다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 이를 원래대로 그려야 한다는 전제하에, 태권도 교본의 발전방안을 모색하기 위해 2가지 관점에서 검토를 하였다. 첫째, 보는 사람을 위해 품새선의 방향표시를 거꾸로 했던 것을, 수련하는 사람을 위해 방향표시를 따라할 수 있는 대로 바꾸는 것이 바람직할 것이다. 또한 가, 나, 다1, 다2, 다3, 라1, 라2, 라3 등 여러 개의 방향표시 대신, 동서남북(N, E, S, W)의 방위 표시로 하는 안을 방안을 고려해보았다. 둘째, 교본에서 각 품새마다 시선, 위치, 서기, 동작, 품명을 설명한 요약표(synoptic table)를 수정·보완하였다. 따라서 ‘① 순서 → ② 시선 → ③ 딛기(중심이동 및 방향전환) → ④ 서기 → ⑤ 품명’의 5단계로 재구성하는 것이 바람직할 것이다.

According to Taekwondo Textbook of Kukkiwon, in order to help the actual training of the reader, the diagrams of Poomsae lines are shown in the reverse direction. The diagrams of Poomsae lines are reversely depicted from the trainee's view instead of description by the instructor's view. Generally, to understand Poomsae Lines, reader(master or trainee) might see reversed book. Therefore, it was investigated to 2 points of view. Firstly, the diagrams of Poomsae Lines has to get back for trainee's view. Also the eyes direction has to change easy from Ga, Na, Da1, Da2, D3, Ra1, Ra2, R3 to NESW(north, east, south, west). Secondly, in the textbook, the synoptic table of Taekwondo Poomsae are explained by 6 phase as follows; ① order, ② eyes direction, ③ position, ④ stance, ⑤ action, ⑥ name of Poom. To make clear them, it was suggested new synoptic table by 5 phase as follows; ① order(number), ② eyes direction, ③ Ditgi(movement), ④ stance, ⑤ name of Poom.
